This was in my inbox today

Hi Catherine, We’ve been working on the No Tankers campaign for six years and have never seen a wave of momentum like the one we’re experiencing now. The last six weeks have brought tens of thousands of new supporters – we’re now almost 100,000 strong! Our office is abuzz with fresh ideas, and we’re excited to be working with such an incredible diversity of Canadians.

OK, I know this is a personally addressed mass email.  So I won’t take all the credit for this wave of momentum, however I was so outraged by Joe Oliver’s radicals and hijacking statements I started a personal email campaign.  

Here is a copy of the email I sent to 2 people each day for 2 weeks in January.  It is also the first post on the project-pipeline blog.  If you didn’t have a chance to forward it to 2 people now is the time!  Anything you find on this site that you want to share;  copy, paste and send to someone who cares about our planet.

 I am just one person doing one thing instead of nothing.

Help stop the expansion of oil supertanker traffic through B.C.’s coastal waters

Can you take 5 minutes to sign this petition?  I have researched this group, The Dogwood Initiative, and believe they have the network, technology and attitude to grow huge, which is what needs to happen to ensure there will never be an oil spill on the coast of British Columbia.
